This place is excellent! The haircuts are fast, the staff pays great attention to detail, not to mention with amazing prices. KJ is the nicest barber I’ve ever had, always taking time to get to know you and making sure you walk out with exactly what you wanted. My entire family goes here (ages 3–40), and she does a great job with everyone. 10/10 recommend.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. We visited KJ barbershop today to get a haircut for my four year old. Everyone was so kind and friendly and really helped making him feel less anxious. However, the cut itself didn’t turn out well…the barber trimmed back of my son’s ear way too short!! It is now basically a hairless part close to his ear and it looks really bad… If he wasn’t sure how short he should trim, he could have asked me. Unfortunately that was a negative experience for us.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at KJ Barber Shop and I can't recommend them enough! KJ did an incredible job with my two boys, who are neurodiverse and have sensory challenges. She was so gentle, patient, and really took the time to make them feel comfortable and at ease. It’s clear she understands how to work with children who might find haircuts a bit overwhelming. The atmosphere of the barbershop was also amazing as it was clean, welcoming, and relaxing, which made the entire experience so much better. My boys left looking great and feeling positive about their haircuts, which is something I’ve struggled to achieve in the past. I will definitely be recommending KJ Barber Shop to all my friends and family. If you have neurodiverse children or kids with sensory challenges, this is the place to go!
