I have purchased numerous tropical plants and they have all done great. No pests and they are typically in great shape. I always see employees maintaining plant stock (pruning dead, watering, etc). Only downside is the hard water stains that appear on leaves, but that is easily fixed.

I bought a Dipladenia Rio plant on July 23rd. The plant was not healthy with white residue on the leaves and black spots. I contacted Tree Valley for a refund, but they said they will not reimburse me for this plant. I got a lecture about all the science and care that has gone into my plant. "It took two years to grow this plant and thousands of dollars in organic integrated pest/disease management program to get this product ready for sale." It was recommended I replant, so I did replant. Now it's worse than ever and I believe was diseased when I first bought it.

Absolute new favourite garden center, large variety of indoor and outdoor plants as well as tree and a lot specialty species that I can’t find or very difficult to find else where! I am willing to pay for a little high price. But, they don’t offer warranty for some plants and only one year warranty for shrubs and trees. I can even find cherry blossoms at 10ft tall!

Great selections! I enjoy coming here! Maybe avoid weekends though. Employees here are quick and willing to help, with the exception of this Caucasian woman that loudly accused us of butting in line without getting to know the situation first (cashier told us to come back with a photo of the product tag), and didn't apologize either. The space indoors is really crowded when there's a line up, I think they could have employee guide the line up situation a bit especially further down the line where people started to question which one is the line. Overall I still really enjoy buying beautiful plants here!

Huge range of variety, amazing collection. A mix of indoor potted plants, annuals, seeds, different sized trees. You can spend hours here and not run out of plants to look at.

I think this nursery is well maintained, because all the plants and flowers seem well groomed. I asked two staff members for help and both seemed friendly. I would come back for more flowers.

Majority of the staff members here are quite rude. I was asked to return in 2 days with pictures of my garden, which I happily did and found the sales associate Paul. Even though I followed his instructions and came back, he couldn’t be bothered to give me any attention whatsoever or help me select plants/trees. He left in the middle of a sentence to go help another customer. I waited over 30 minutes for him to return and help us (as he promised). He did not. I should have known when he was making snarky comments about other customers and bragging about ignoring them that he shouldn’t be trusted. I ended up purchasing over $3000 worth of trees, perennials and cedars from Valleyview Gardens and Sheridan Nurseries. After reading the reviews on here, I’m very happy I didn’t spend a dollar of my money here.

Hi Tippi, thank you for your feedback. We do not have a staff member named Paul on staff. If you were to provide us with a name of one of our staff members, based on this interaction we would have to have a disciplinary meeting with the staff member as it goes against company policy and procedure.
