Moved from Barrie to Stouffville in the Summer. The people here made everything so easy. They know exactly what you need and how to do it. I used to deal with my local Home Depot this kind of stuff and the difference is amazing. The team there are truly experts. Highly recommend for anyone doing projects by themselves!
I asked my mother to buy 1 gallon of paint for the washroom and she came back with 1 court of Aura!! And that kid didn't even give her my contractor's discount when my mother had asked him to put it on my account. Obviously she didn't have enough paint to roll the washroom. Today she went to a diffrent location and found out that not only she got ripped off but it cost her 110 plus to paint a washroom and we still need more paint. How unprofessional from the stouffvile location to sell someone that has no clue their most expensive paint. I will never refer anyone to this location again. Imagine if I has send my client to pick up paint.
I recently decided to repaint my room, and was reccomended to check out this store. I had a colour in mind from another manufactuer, and I was very impressed by the colour matching that they were able to provide as it was identical to what I wanted. The paint was quality was very high, as it's been a while since I've painted so I expected a large odour from the paint, but thankfully this was not the case, and I very pleasantly surprised. More than happy to come back again for future project needs, would definitely reccomend to anyone and everyone.
I ordered a 5 gallon pail custom color that requires by our customer. Paint quality was really great. It covers very well and does smell at all. Very pleasant to work with. Our customer were so happy that they tip the whole crews. The match were so good that they forgot they ordered a custom color. Thank you for the great match and consultant. We will definitely come back again for the next project to come!
I purchaed 4 gallons of paint in Dec 2022 and used it all up and needed 2 additional gallons in February 2023 (2 months later). When i went back to get the paint i noticed that the label was different on the can before it was mixed and i asked the person at the store if it was the same as the one i previously bout in December. I went as far as to have him pull my file up on their computer to make sure its the same. I was told it was the same but the new cans are a different formula. I asked if it would be matt finish and he said yes. Well to my surprise I painted the walls and they ended up being a sheen color kind of like an egg shell. Not Matt at all and not what i expected. Long story short, as a professionl store they should have Told me to check around other Benjamin Moore locations for the old formula paint. They did not do that and just made the sale for the sake of the sale. I am very upset and they could not do anything about it when I came back to complain and return the paint. I went to another Benjamin Moore located not too far away and found plenty of the old formula available there. Suffice it to say I had to spend double the amount on paint just to make sure I had the right colour with matt finish.
I never post reviews but Cheryl went above and beyond any expectations I had for a paint store! She is a colour expert. No joke. She was so patient with me and listened to all of my needs and pulled out so many paint samples for me to choose from and helped me fine tune my search. When I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, she literally crafted a custom paint colour that was everything I was looking for. Thank you so much! My space looks so amazing because of you!!!
Shout out to Dan at Benjamin Moore inside out decorating. I bought a gallon of paint which was totally wrong for my space. In a panic I went back to see what my options were. Dan spent over an hour adjusting, mixing and fixing my poor paint choice. It was the greatest customer service I have experienced. Thanks! I hope you consider using Benjamin Moore for your painting needs
