On the day of our scheduled grooming appointment, we realized that we would be arriving approximately five minutes late and contacted Sarah to advise them accordingly. During that call, we were informed that Sarah was not working that day and that another groomer would be providing the service. We were not previously aware that there was more than one groomer on staff, as we had understood the business to be a standalone, owner-operated service. We feel this is important for clients to be aware of when booking appointments. We advised that our dog had some matting and were informed that shaving might be required. Unfortunately, the grooming was completed to a substandard level. Our dog appeared uncomfortable for several days following the appointment due to multiple cuts and nicks from the clippers. Our dog has been shaved previously by other groomers, including in situations where the matting was more severe, and has never returned home in the condition experienced after this visit. There were visible scabs from bleeding and areas of irritation in several areas. Due to this experience, we will not be returning for future services. We felt it was important to share this feedback both to explain our decision and to ensure others are fully informed when choosing appointments for our best friends and most loved family members.
We bring our dog to Sarah’s Paw Grooming for a few times. Their service is so good with detail care on my dog who is very fluffy and double coated. Groomers are very experienced and gentle care on dogs. I highly recommend their service if you need one.
OUSTANDING. Our 3 girls have never looked this good. Completely impressed with the attention to detail and the skill of the hair trimming/cuts. Their coats are like velvet and, FINALLY..: someone who knows how to trim nails down perfectly. Professional - hands down. Punctual. Trustworthy. Highly recommend Sarah's Spaw!
I’m disappointed to leave this review, but my experience with Sarah’s Spaw was extremely unprofessional. After initially contacting them and setting up an appointment, they completely ghosted us. Despite multiple attempts to confirm the appointment and follow up, we received no response. As pet owners, we rely on businesses like this to be reliable and communicative, especially when it comes to the care of our dogs. Unfortunately, Sarah’s Spaw did not meet even the most basic expectations. I would not recommend this service based on their lack of communication and reliability.
Not only did Sarah do a wonderful job on our large Pyrenees’, she’s also a lovely person to work with. We couldn’t be happier - she got all the white spots white again, their coats are shiny and they smell amazing. Look no further for grooming, we’ll be back!
