Lmao I don’t know what I was thinking. I actually got duped into trying the pinsa romana from the pictures. Don’t be like me, you deserve better than this. They don’t taste like much of anything beyond salt and ketchup (The sauce is so sweet? Why?) 2 stars solely for the wings which surprisingly were better than they look and somehow didn’t taste burnt despite appearances. My first and last time with Pizzaville. If this place is your jam I’m not trying to yuck your yum but I will reiterate - you deserve better than this.
This seems to be a trend with most pizza places for the last few years now, but it's a lot more evident at Pizzaville, especially compared to other pizza places in Stouffville. Ordering any extra cheese or additional cheese toppings, is just a waste of money and/or toppings. There has only been ONE order at this location where there was actually a good amount of cheese, and that was with double the cheese option, 3 cheese blend, and asiago on the entire pizza. All the other times I order at least 2 different cheeses on top of the standard mozzarella, and it's ALWAYS like the pictures I added. Bare spots and barely any noticeable difference between a pizza with zero toppings beyond the standards. This was also supposed to be "lightly done", but it's usually always closer to well done.
Ordered the spicy vege gourmet pizza. Got the regular pizza with 3 toppings. Missing the spicy chilli flakes, green chilli pepper, and ginger which I added. Not even the gourmet pizza I paid for..could have just got the regular walk in 3 topping for half the price....
We are regular customers here because: 1) the pizzas are consistently really good; 2) the online app makes it easy to order and customize pizzas; 3) the prices are reasonable for what you get, and there are often good online specials; and 4) the staff is consistent and recognizes us as regulars now. Absolutely will be coming back again.
