Beware! Everything in this store is expired! Went a few days ago and was shocked to see everything on shelves was expired. Some items even expired in 2024! Few non expired items all expiring within 1 week. Was going to this store since they first opened and watched them go downhill since. Even the toothpaste is expired. Vegetables rotten. Fried sambol expired 2024 . If ever a health inspector or bylaw officer came here, they would have a heart attack .
I was going there so far, but today I was charged dishonesty. First it was the MD jackfruit - on the shelf it was $3.99 and at the till it was $4.29. Which they honoured the price at the shelf later. I was in a rush so I didn’t keep a keen eye on the checkout display, but when I came home I realised they have charged me wrong for wijaya curry powder and Shana paratha. Shana paratha was displayed at $6.99 but I was charged $9.99, max wijaya curry powder was $7.99 on display and had been $9.99 apparently on the checkout. I was happy with the place till today… you guys are not honest Additionally The price for a small clay pot is $10.99 which is like $.50 in Sri Lankan price and that’s absurd !
Glad to see a location open up in Stouffville in addition to their Markham location. Very clean and well stocked. Everyone is super helpful and friendly.
