Incredibly helpful and kind staff. I've been a patron since they opened and have always had a great experience. Brought my "Duke" in today and he roamed the aisles and was met with treats. They have wonderful customer appreciation events and are CANADIAN!!! I wouldn't shop anywhere else!
My wife was deeply frightened today when an incredibly aggressive and untrained dog decided to hold the store hostage while it's oblivious owner trundled around helplessly. Instead of addressing the issue properly and asking the cretin and her salivating bazooka to just wait outside for a moment, management decided to let my wife and another customer with a small, very frightened dog, cower in the corner instead, until the mongrel and its dog left. When I called to complain, they apologized and said they'd review the footage and discuss and get back to me. And I couldn't believe what I heard when they did! Apparently the customer gets favourable treatment because she works with the city, making by-laws! Apparently, the dog was ACTUALLLY friendly, but didn't know how to show it! Apparently, corporate policy says that as long as anything is leashed, any terrible behaviour is excusable and there is nothing anyone can do! I'm downright flabberghasted. I was comfortable taking my business elsewhere quietly but this is beyond the pale. Getting mansplained about how their store picks and chooses how to treat people and how to interpret dog signals was not what I wanted. I simply wanted to hear that the burly dude working would summon the modicum of backbone it would take to do his job and maintain a safe and calm environment in a store. "I'm sorry" is not an apology on its own. "I'm sorry and I won't do it again"- IS. But to say, "I apologise, and it will happen again and there's nothing we can do-"-- that's garbage. What a tragedy. Do better.
Friendly and helpful staff, and lots of good selection Had a good variety of foods for Conures (despite my nut allergies and a lot - but not all - of the foods containing nuts). He seems to like the food so far!
Visited Global Pet Food today and had a fantastic experience! Huge thanks to associates Dawson for his excellent assistance in selecting the perfect birthday cupcake for my furry friend. Their knowledge and friendly service made the shopping experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Came here after having a bad experience at the petvalu across the street. Not only was the staff member I dealt with extremely pleasant and helpful, turns out the pricing for the item I was looking for was cheaper than the petvalu too! I intend to shop here in the future and I have signed up for the rewards program too.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. This location has a big selection of pet foods, pet clothing and accessories. We have a cat that has an allergy to multiple animal protein. A staff member spent his time helping us look at various options for our cat. He shared his knowledge on allergies and manufacturers. With his help, we were able to find something that works for our cat! We continue to shop here for our new puppy!
Ordered one thing got something else and then she told me sorry that's all we had 15 minutes walk one way 15 minute walk back what something I couldn't use
