I had a wonderful experience at Ren’s Pet Store thanks to Brianna! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient while helping me choose the right products for my pet. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and customers alike. She took the time to answer all my questions and even shared a few helpful tips that made me feel confident in my purchase. It’s always nice to see someone go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Brianna is a great example of what excellent customer service should be!
I was in Ren's in Stouffville today and was greeted by lovely Breanna :). She was very approachable, polite, professional, shared here experiences, and had a great sense of humour. I was looking for toys and she showed me many options, answered all of my questions and made my shopping experience very pleasurable. I will definitely return! Thanks, Breanna!

Coles note’s got my baby spayed, needed recovery onesie had one from vet but to be safe wanted to get her 2 more case of accidents. Went to Rens lady was very helpful. Told the cashier that there for only in case of emergencies and if I don’t use them can I bring them back no problem at all aslong as there in Original packaging with the receipt, though no more of it . Didn’t need to use so I tried to return today and with a grin was told none refundable. It was $100 to the pair . I’ll never be back in the store again and my advice to you there is 2 or 3 other pet shops in Dtpuffville that are awesome, I didn’t go to them as they didn’t have any in stock
I had a disappointing experience at the Whitchurch-Stouffville REN’s Pets location (1040 Hoover Park Dr). The cashier I dealt with—a Caucasian female—was noticeably unfriendly and lacked basic customer service skills. Even though I greeted her at the register, she didn’t acknowledge me at all—no hello, no eye contact—setting a cold and uncomfortable tone for the interaction. When I brought up a product with a clearly marked 25% off sticker, she informed me that she needed to check the expiration date to ensure I hadn’t taken the sticker from another item. As it turned out, the sticker was exactly where it belonged—the date matched, and the item was expiring in a few days—so I had done nothing wrong. The way she approached the situation felt accusatory and unnecessary. While I was in the store, she also spoke loudly about having completed a police foundations program and how she didn’t want to work at REN’s, saying she was actively looking for a new job. This created an awkward and unprofessional atmosphere that only added to the negative experience. It’s unfortunate, because the rest of the staff at this location have always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, this encounter has made me reconsider shopping at this location again.
I was in the store the other day looking for a specific item. Rens didn't carry the item but Amanda was so helpful that she was able to help me find a simular item that ended up helping my dogs itchy feet. We chatted a while and she gave me a wealth of information regarding a new dog food that Jasper is trying and absolutely loving. We will be back to see Amanda for all out puppy needs. She's amazing!
I was needing some supplies for my service dog while on a road trip in the area. I stopped in to see if they could help me out. Amanda was extremely approachable and pleasant to deal with. Being new to having a dog, let alone a service dog, Amanda was beyond helpful in helping me locate the exact items I was looking for. She made some great suggestions for other products that I hadn’t even thought of at the time. It was an incredibly educational and pleasant experience. I generally have issues being in new places and dealing with new people, but Amanda really helped me stay calm with her pleasant and helpful personality. I am truly grateful for her assistance. I must also add that this is definitely one of the cleanest and tidiest pet stores I have been in. It was a very professional and pleasant experience.
